 Brian Furlong played collegiately at Iowa State University, Triton College, Creighton University and the University of Iowa. He was an Academic All-Conference player in the Big 12, Missouri Valley and Big 10 Conferences. He has spent the past 4 years as General Manager of Diamond Dreams has done over 5,000 hours of private, group and team instruction. He currently serves as Managing Director and as a hitting/pitching instructor.

 Allyson Schwab played collegiately at Virginia Tech. She was selected to play for the Salem All-Stars, a local team that played the U.S. Olympic Softball Team and recorded a sacrifice bunt against Jennie Finch. She taught lessons and camps in Salem, Virginia for Rip City Baseball/Softball training center for nine years before relocating to Iowa with her husband Doug. They have two young boys – Hayden and Hendrix.

 Scott Brune is a former pitcher for the University of Iowa baseball team. During the 2006 season, Brune lead the Hawkeyes with a conference ERA of 1.29 and finished the season with the an overall earned run average of 1.88.

Dillon, a native of Urbandale, IA, attended Baylor University and was subsequently selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 20th Round (595th overall) of the 2006 amateur entry draft as a catcher. His honors include 2005 ABCA second team all-Midwest Region selection, 2005 first team all-Big 12 Conference honoree and a nine time Big 12 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient. He is currently an assistant coach at the University of Iowa.

 Wes Freie is a native of Wilton, Iowa. As a senior in high school he was named the Iowa Class 2A Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year. Freie went on to play for the University of Iowa and played summer baseball in the Northwoods League.

 Kevin Hoef is a former standout third baseman and lead-off hitter for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes. In 2008, after earning All-Big Ten Honors, Hoef was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 48th round of the MLB draft.

 Jim Magrane was drafted in the 33rd round of the MLB amateur draft but elected to attend The University of Iowa where he was a three-year starter. His college career was highlighted by a complete game victory over the University of Miami during his junior year. He spent 7 years with the Tampa Bay Rays organization and the 2007 season with the Washington Nationals. He was awarded the Atlantic League's 2009 Pitcher of the Year while playing for the Somerset Patriots.

 Uby Martinez has over a decade of baseball coaching experience. He is currently an assistant at Iowa City Regina High School. He serves as the Regals’ hitting and infield coach as well as coaching first base during games. Coach Martinez has been part of the University of Iowa Baseball camp staff for the past six years with focus on infield and hitting instruction.

 Nick Muhlenbruch is a former Diamond Dreams student and two-time 1st Team All-State athlete at City High. He played baseball at The University of Iowa and was named Academic All-Big Ten.

 Wes Obermueller played 9 years of professional baseball, pitching in the Majors with the Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, and Florida Marlins. Collegiately, Obermueller played at the University of Iowa in the shortstop, outfield, and DH positions as well as at pitcher. Obermueller was selected as a 2003 Triple-A All-Star prior to his Major League call up. Obermueller also played in Japan with the Orix Buffaloes and in Korea for the Samsung Tigers. He and his wife Jodie have three young children – Cade, Drake and Maeve.

 Nate Price played collegiately at Triton College in Chicago under legendary hall of fame coach Bob Symonds. He continued his career as an All-Big Ten outfielder at the University of Iowa. After his college career Coach Price played three seasons of professional baseball in the Chicago Cubs organization and with the Gary Railcats of the Independent Northern League.

 Andy Brehm played high school baseball at Mount Vernon High School. Brehm is currently a student at the University of Iowa where he studies Political Science and Philosophy.

 CBrian Mitchell is the co-founder of Diamond Dreams. Mitchell grew up in Iowa City and played baseball at City High. Mitchell played collegiately at The University of Iowa and professionally in the Toronto Blue Jays organization. During Mitchell’s career with the Hawkeyes he earned All-American accolades and became the all-time home run leader. Brian owns and operates his company, Small Business Fund. He and his wife Jenni have three young children – Gable, Jake & Eliza. Mitchell also serves as a Diamond Dreams instructor.

 Mike Gavin is a native Iowa Citian and played baseball for City High. He went on to play college ball at Butler University in Indianapolis. He owns and operates Gavin Historical Bricks. He and his wife Annie have two young children – Danny & Elsie. Gavin also serves as an instructor for our Little Hammers Development League.

 Troy Hicks moved to Iowa City as a young child and played baseball at City High. Troy went on to play baseball at Kirkwood and has played on a traveling softball team the last 15 years. His team finished 2nd in the Nation at the 2008 ASA Open Nationals. Hicks works ins sales at Randy's Carpets and Interiors and is co-owner of AreaRugs.com. He and his wife Andrea have two young children - Owen and Libbie. Hicks is also an instructor for our Little Hammers Development League.

 Randy Reiners hails from Fort Dodge, Iowa. In high school he was a 1st Team All-State selection in baseball, but chose to play football – in which he was named Iowa’s Gatorade Player of the Year – at the college-level. Reiners served at quarterback for the University of Iowa from 1995-1999. He currently works for Mid Country Machinery. He and his wife Sabina also own Le Reve Salon & Spa in North Liberty and have three children – Ezra, Mischa and Pryor.

 Bart Sueppel is a native of Iowa City. Sueppel played baseball and basketball at Upper Iowa University. Over the years, Sueppel has coached sophomore baseball and was an assistant varsity basketball coach City High. He and his family own La Casa Distribution. Bart and his wife Vicki have one son, Nicholas.
